Is TRX for me?  How do I use it?

TRX benefits people of all fitness levels, from professional athletes to seniors because it is tailored to each person’s individual fitness level.  While your instructor shows you each movement, you always remain in control of how difficult each exercise will be because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.  Our instructor shows you a range of motion to increase or decrease resistance and difficulty.


Why TRX for cyclists?

All power on the bike is generated from the “core.”  The core is the region of your body below the neck to the hips (excluding your arms and legs). Your core consists of more than just your abs. All of the muscles that surround your abdomen, support your spine and protect your internal organs, collectively comprise your core muscles.  Having a strong core means more than having a visible six-pack. Your core muscles generate sustained power on the bike as well as the inner stability needed to perform athletic movements.  All movements performed on a TRX Suspension Trainer require that you first brace and stabilize with your abs, obliques and lower-back so you can leverage your own bodyweight as resistance.  TRX provides one of the most time efficient core training methods available today.  You will notice a difference after just a few TRX workouts.
