  Mike Moraites

  • Owner and Head Coach at CycleLife Studio
  • Certified USA Cycling Coach
  • ACSM - Certified Personal Trainer
  • Cycling for over 20 years
  • Consistent top 10 finisher in regional cross country races
  • Consistent top 10 finisher in regional short track races
  • Competed in multiple Ultra Endurance Mountain Bike Races: Vermont 50, Leadville 100, Wilderness 101, Choutta100, and Shenandoah 100
  • Participated in Countless Road Centuries and endurance rides: B2VT, Blood Sweat and Gears, Bridge to Bridge, 3-Mountain Madness

Although he started cycling for modest fitness and weight loss goals, Mike quickly became passionate about the sport. He focused on mountain bike racing beginning with cross country and short track races. Switching gears he moved into ultra-endurance mountain bike racing. He really enjoys multiple-day bike tours (both road and mountain bike) with favorites including Hawaii, Colorado, North Carolina, Maryland and Virginia. Cycling became a life changing activity for Mike, not only physically but mentally and spiritually, and he often refers to his rides as “Cycle-Therapy”. He began coaching in North Carolina in 2012 and with the success of his first client he knew that sharing his passion for cycling with others was the path he wanted to follow. His coaching philosophy is that cycling is not just about the workout, it’s about the experience: The journey of transforming the athlete in mind, body and spirit. As Head Coach and owner at CycleLife Studio he truly does “live to ride and ride to live.”
