Who is Danielle and what people can expect from Danielle’s class.

Danielle grew up more at ease performing Shakespeare and singing in show choir than working out in a fitness studio.  She came to exercise as a complete novice in her 30s, a mom desperate for some time to herself and eager to be healthier and more energetic.  Danielle delights in encouraging those who may not consider themselves to be natural athletes.  In her class, you can expect a lighthearted, noncompetitive atmosphere that inspires members to have fun and leave their stresses at the door.

What Danielle wants to say to everyone who walks through her class door.

“I want every single person to feel completely and wholly welcomed in my class.  Whatever shape you are in today, mentally and physically, is absolutely and unapologetically acceptable. Working out doesn’t have to be a chore, it can be a celebration of joy!  That’s what I’m striving to create in my classes, a space where we can really and truly rejoice in moving our bodies”.

How Danielle motivates.

“I’m no drill sergeant!  Members walk in the door and make the choice to be in my class, so I seek to honor that intention by crafting a spirited and non-threatening atmosphere that builds community and grows confidence.  I empower members to dig deep for their internal motivators as we continually remind ourselves how good we feel during and after we workout and sweat.  Feeling amazing and energized is the best motivator of all!”

What Danielle does when she is not on the bike.

“Some of my interests outside cycling include reading, gardening, yoga and cooking.  I love wide open rural spaces and live on a hobby farm which is currently home to 3 goats, 2 pigs, and a flock of chickens”.

Danielle’s favorite quote.

“It’s a tie for my favorite quote.  I know these aren’t especially motivational, but they’ve been meaningful to me for years now".

“Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes.” —Walt Whitman, Song of Myself.

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!” —Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland.”
