A CycleLife Coach will help you prepare every step of the way to achieve all you set out to accomplish. Whether you are a seasoned athlete looking to take your performance to the next level or a recreational enthusiast training for your first big event, we have a coaching program designed to suit your needs and your budget.

How We Coach

Coaching provides a structured methodology to systematically advance you toward your goal with built-in support and accountability. Each coaching program will include communication and personalized sessions with your coach to:

1)     Assess your current fitness level;
2)     Analyze the skills and strengths you need for your event or target goal;
3)     Identify skills/areas that need focused attention in your training plan;
4)     Plan targeted, effective workouts;
5)     Evaluate performance and adjust the training plan as your fitness improves;
6)     Create accountability for you;
7)     Answer your questions;
8)     Provide structured support; and
9)     Deliver results.

We use the latest technology, including Final Surge™ software to track your progress and measure your results.


Assess – Analyze – Apply – Adjust

Working closely with your coach, you will move through the stages of performance improvement as your coach first assesses your fitness, analyzes the results with your goal in mind, applies a training plan and workout schedule with you, and adjusts the training plan as you improve, starting the cycle over again.

Why Have a Coach?

It is very difficult to juggle all the demands of modern-day life, from personal and professional to family obligations while also maintaining good general fitness. It is all that more difficult to balance those aspects of life when training for specific events – and usually the training is the first thing to get pushed to the back burner. This is where a coach comes in. We all need accountability. The planning, goal-setting and interaction with a professional coach provides the guidance, structure, accountability and performance evaluation you need to succeed. We are confident we can help you reach your goals.

What Differentiates CycleLife?

We do not follow the one-plan-fits all philosophy or approach. We believe in customized training plans tailored to each client’s needs and areas for development.

All of our coached athletes have access to our state-of-the-art training facility and receive a discount for use of the studio facilities. Using the latest CompuTrainer technology and ride development software, your coach can create custom rides designed especially for you to target those skills you need to work on most. You can then schedule and complete your training session at a time that works for you.

Personal Training Plans

This option is an ideal alternative to a fully coached program. With a personal training plan, we provide a structured plan to help you stay focused on a particular race or event. A cost effective option is to pair a training plan with some of our a-la-carte coaching services (see below). Make no mistake: a training plan will still be customized to your needs and your specific goals. We will tailor your plan with realistic training volumes, so you can meet the demands of athletic training while balancing the responsibilities of your family, personal and work life.
